After a little shopping buying some new paper to line all the kitchen drawers, cabinets part of my Spring cleaning agenda. So I thought I would craft a new sign and spiff the shower room up a bit. I had seen this sign somewhere online for sale when I tried to find it I had no luck but made one out of some old wood from my stash.
Just some old wood can become a vintage style sign that can give any room some character. If your not crafty or an artist don't worry there are stencils or freehand anything goes you can search the internet and find something you like and go from there. If you don't have a wood stash that's ok, I see that Home Depot is selling precut pieces of wood great for signs and at a reasonable price.
Just a simple Wash
I had shared the shower room makeover and you can see it here: http://mrsblackstone.blogspot.com/2015/02/done-with-that-terrible-wallpaper.html
A simple red shaded shutter propped in the corner adds a vintage touch. The painted border with all words shower was done with the shower redo previously.
Sorry for the dark pictures but I cant say enough about how handy this simple huge bicycle basket is it holds our towels faithfully.
Of course I had to add a rooster who sits on a bed of country material
There is a list of some links that will feature some of the signs that I have crafted.
