Good day to you! Hope you are keeping cool with some great cool drinks and a swim or two. OK it might be reaching the high 90's here in South west Florida but it's never to hot to go to the thrift store! Here in Naples Del's Thrift Warehouse has everything and anything and at great prices. Some vintage ,some new and some just a little old. What I love about shopping here is that it has all kinds of tools to keep my hubby occupied while I ramble the warehouse. So put on some comfy shoes and lets check it out!

Oh and we have come at the right's clearance day !
Oh my I have my eye on this vintage drink holder. It looks like it would have been used by a worker in the coal mines to sooth their thirst, the top was used as a cup. Too cool!
These lovely chairs were once the seat of some very petite woman perhaps for tea or a game of afternoon checkers. Love the scroly wood work and the table feet a great set for a foyer or game room.
I just love old photogr…

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL........sewed from scraps of leftover materials and a stray frame

Hi there, welcome to Sweet Tea N' Salty Air. Hope you are enjoying your summer in your own special way....some just like to curl up on the porch with a cold tea and a good book, some love to swim their day away.....some wait for the ice cream man like me. What ever you do savor the summer it just ends much too quickly.

America is beautiful , isn't she??
I was lucky to score this vintage star from Dells thrift warehouse. It seems to have a home on this frame.

By just ripping the material and gathering as I sewed it onto the white colored strip, I was able to achieve the shabby ruffle look.
Don't worry kitties in my home I now forgive you for breaking the mirror se…

Hi there, happy you could stop in today ! It's a hot one here in southwest Florida.....the humidity can sure take you back a bit. I don't know about you but I always think of summer when I think of berries. When I was a child we would take baskets to the garden and pick a few and eat a few. These days it's Mango the fruit of the land around here. The sweet peach textured fruit is great for so many recipes even salsa. Getting back to Berries, as I was thrifting on Saturday I found a set of what I thought were four Cherry desert dishes they were taped all together. I basically bought them for the Cherries thinking they were all the same.....come to find out they were all different . Even better my 3.99 investment was selling on ebay for a cool 125.00.  Well needless to say I have no intention of selling them and I couldn't wait to display them for the summer in my old china cabinet.

Saturday thrifting was a good day....a great set of French made desert dishes and a huge …
