A FALL FARMHOUSE STYLE WREATH MADE FROM scraps & lids What?!

Hi and welcome ! nice of you to stop by. I know everyone would love to have something nice and not pay a high price so today I want to share a wreath that I have crafted using.....

Yes .....just some plastic tops that I have been saving , also a duvet cover that has seen its day , a scrap piece of wood some stencils and a wire base all of which I have on hand.
After ripping the pieces of material I  gave all the lids a lick of dark paint ya see these will be the pumpkins yep pumpkins
And there you have it not much to it … one the paint was dry I added some shading with a bit of white and orange, don't worry if you cant paint pumpkins well there are several examples on the internet for you to see.
Not to bad for free with a bit of imagination

This wreath will be hung on the front gate so it will have to weather the storms!  Will you be giving this a try? So the checklist for this project is scrap material and wood scrap , some lids, a base, paint hotglue , and what ever else you like.

Thanks so much for stopping on in today

Hi Folks, welcome so happy you could stop on in! Love having a place to plant and store all my garden needs nicely . So come along and lets take a peek...…….

So I put this scarecrow together with some sticks of wood and some olden clothes that I gathered, I don't have any corn stalks but I sure do have some sunflower stalks so I gathered them together and gave them a lick of farm yellow spray paint.
Over working the garden wagon with some faux harvest

This is a simple wreath made with scraps of material even the flowers are made of fabric
The shanty is a great place to dry herbs and these wonderful sunflower seeds I made the corn sign and ear of faux corn

It was about to storm while I was taking photos  made it just in time ,that fella with the big hat is waiting patiently in the shanty

Its all in good fun!

The little vintage Autumn breadbox that could !

Hi there and welcome! so happy you could stop on in today. So I have Autumn on my mind ,I have been planning things out for Fall décor how about you? My poor wooden vintage breadbox was sitting on the shelf looking mighty tired it was last used as a bunny hutch for Easter  so I thought it would make a cute addition to Fall.

White and plain and needing some love. This has to be my favorite piece to decorate . I found this old girl at Goodwill for 5$

So I gathered up some homespun material for the corn cobs, and also for the pumpkins. I used a roll of brown paper for molding and a bag of corn husks that are typically used for making Tamales. My glue gun  paints and some light weight copper wire .

I went with a grey color and some red wear markings

I just worked with the brown paper until I had the pumpkin and corn  shapes then covered them with material

I found these ity bity clothes pins at $ Tree  along with the burlap leaves

Fall fun Just built up on imagination!
Thank you for visiting STNSA Where everyone is made to feel at home!

Sweet Tea N' Salty Air is celebrating Fall......come on in and celebrate with us!

Welcome to Sweet Tea N' Salty Air's virtual Fall tour....I am so very happy to celebrate with you! There is a bit of Fall everywhere except outdoors that is! Living in Southwest Florida we don't have the color changing leaves but we do have pumpkins and wonderful varieties of crisp Apples...and soon we will have a weather change.

I just had to pick the light blue pumpkins for now when we get closer to Halloween I will by the Orange Jack O Lanterns for carving. Seems as though younger children just don't except any other but orange pumpkins. I think maybe as a blogger and loving vintage /farmhouse/country style I may forget fall is really about the oranges, reds and yellows.

On this table I have a small vintage cabinet decorated for Fall surrounded by some fun Fall décor.

I have the Apple theme on the shelf behind my stove.

Don't have any Fall dishes? I have a stash of just plain ones that I decorate with paint when needed such as these painted Fall leaves. Don't think you know how to paint? Easy enough... just go online for images and you can paint from there.

The fire place has a brown paper leave , white rag garland with lights. My large goose takes center stage accompanied by some pinecones and Foe pumpkins. I crafted the pumpkin seed picture from some old wood.

The tobacco ladder has some burlap Fall letters

A little brown paper leave with cloths pins adds a tad of Fall. This is our "Pepper" a good old girl.

I wanted to make the Pumpkin seed picture 3-d so I added some burlap around the stem and some paper bag leaves. Can you tell that the garland leaves are made from paper bag? I cut them from grocery bags then painted them with some watered down craft paint and gave them a bit of a crumble.

Our little Natalie came and brought me these huge pinecones....what a thoughtful child. They are the biggest cones I have seen in the south.

On the dining table I have a huge glass bowl ....actually it is a light fixture that  I painted with some black glass paint.

I bought some plain glass candles so I just added some blackbirds and a burlap bow

Before you leave I have baked a Apple crumb cake and made some fresh cocoa.

WELCOME TO OUR FALL STOOP FEATURING THRIFT STORE WOODEN PUMPKINS!

Hi there! Enjoying Fall? The weather has even changed some here in Southwest Florida....cooler mornings and evenings.  My favorite time for baking yummy Fall favorites as well as warm the heart and soul kind of dinners. Today I have decorated the front stoop, I have included my 2 wooden pumpkins that I found at our local thrift store.

These solid wooden guys are just crying for some love and attention and @ .99 each they for sure came home with me. I mixed up some homemade chalk paint using a bit of baking soda in my paint and gave them a blanket of white.
After the pumpkins were dry I gave them a good sanding then a pretty bow. They are the stars of our front stoop this year.

A few marigolds , mint and basil from my garden sit in a mason jar surrounded by my favorite natural décor , pinecones.
This vintage ladder back chair belonged to a very dear friend that passed away, so every time I look at it  brings back memories of our many chats he experienced in the olden days.
Someone took great care crafting these pumpkins the center has a dowel for the stem.

The wrought iron railing is covered with a fall leave garland attached to some orange rope lighting. Those of you that know me know that I love to use different kinds of lighting in décor , to me it adds some festive flavor.

But the most favorite fall décor hangs on my fridge made by our sweet Natalie!
