A perfect curtain remedy!

Welcome! So nice of you to drop in. I don't know about you but I'm always looking for the perfect curtain for my living room. I have 2 large windows.

At a recent shopping trip to Ollie's,  a perfect store with everything you can think of at discounted prices. Anyway as I was shopping the Christmas isles I saw the prettiest tablecloths.  All 100% cotton  which I love. So I got to thinking , wow I could sew these into curtains very easily.

That's just what I did,. Took out my sewing machine and with a simple sew to accompany my curtain rods I had the perfect curtains. They are a bit transparent but let's just a hint of light in.  Both windows covered for under 20$

A perfect  snowflake design for the winter months. I do have my faux fireplace seen here in the middle of both windows.

Be sure to measure your windows to match the size of the tablecloths.  A fun, easy beautiful way to cover windows.

Easy Rustic Stars to craft!

Welcome!   I have made some rustic stars for the Christmas tree. Easy, the best part is with just a few items, and a bit of time is all you need!

-lunch h bags, white or brown

Glue, I used hot glue

Scissors

Paint of your choice

These look so darn cute on the tree, also make a pretty nice hostess gift in a set 6 or whatever

Cut the bottom of the bag
You will need 5 lunch bags, once 5 are glued to form a star, you can paint them whatever way you like. I had white lunch bags,  I painted a brown not covering the whole star. Then a lick of white to mimic a wood look.

Easy and beautiful on the tree. Hot Glue does work best, making it easy to connect  the rolled paper to for a star

Hope you give this craft a try!

Best wishes for a happy day!
