Actually I will be sharing a little something in a few days, but for now I want to share a cool discovery I made. You know those dated foam back placemats that are sitting idol in the drawer? time to take them out. As I was cleaning out cabinets etc. I found these

Definitely does not go with our décor so I went to my contact paper stash. I found some fun paper with cherries just right for summer.

I tore the top plastic off...

I covered the mats over using this pretty contact paper and to think I almost tossed them out! Contact paper has come a long way, they have such beautiful designs. I found that the assortment of contact paper is better online.

The best part is they are washable. So pull your old mats out and give them some new life.
