Welcome! Hoping you are enjoying the warm days of summer. I am so enjoying the many prints of the peel n stick wallpapers. I've been papering for a very long time using papers with paste, papers with pre paste but peel n stick steals the show! So where do we find such papers? The black n white gingham that's shown today is from Amazon.
I wanted to add some farmhouse love to the fire place backdrop. The dark blue painted backdrop just wasn't working.
The wood backdrop is actually aback to a huge antique china cabinet. The cabinet had seen better days so we took it apart and used the pieces in different ways.
My fireplace mantle is my favorite place to decorate and here we are celebrating 4th of July. If you need to add some pizzazz to your walls give peel n'stick a whirl. So many colors an patterns to choose from.
Happy day to you
Lisa

That black and white gingham wallpaper looks incredible as a fireplace backdrop, and it brings such a cozy, classic farmhouse feel to the whole room. Repurposing the back of that huge antique china cabinet was a genius way to give old wood new life, especially since the dark blue paint wasn't quite doing the space justice. Peel-and-stick wallpaper really is a game-changer compared to the old paste methods, and your Fourth of July mantle decorations look perfectly styled against that fresh new pattern.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much for the lovely comment. I am so loving the peel n stick wallpaper lol maybe too much. I've put it in many places. Your right, the old way of having to paste what a headache. Then stripping the paper off the wall even worse. Have you tried the peel n stick wallpaper? You have a great day
DeleteWhat a dramatic difference that makes. I absolutely love changing my house up and I know that you're the same way. I always enjoy visiting and seeing what you're doing around your home. Bravo for not being afraid to do something so bold. I love what you've done and I truly love that mirror, it's beautiful!
