New life for a couple of good ole pieces of furniture!

welcome! Wow today has been a nice cool rainy day! Perfect for an indoor project. I had this vintage table and this cabinet door from my "seen better days", pile. Bet you too have a pile of sof project items. This piece is perfect for a coffee/ smoothie center.

 By the time I remembered to take a picture I'd already had everything but the legs painted. The old color was a deep eggplant color. So I choose a light teal that I mixed myself. I actually did a dry brushing which means  I let the dark color peek through a bit to give it a really olden look.

 This is the before  of the cabinet door rusty hinges and all.

 I decided to stencil a simple cow

A SUMMER OF RED WHITE AND BLUE

welcome, nice of you to stop by....I just love red white and blue summers. I gather everything from my decor stash and make up some new to add. To spite our countries current status I do wish you a very happy 4th of July! Social distancing , masks and all. Please stay healthy friends.  Wish I could pour you a sweet Tea and sit a spell. Every year I include my afghan  crocheted by my great grandmother about 50 or so years ago, I do cherish it.
