Image
Hi there....welcome to Sweet Tea N' Salty Air. Hope your are enjoying a little spring! I know it may seem like we have spring all year through but that's not true at all we have coldness and now Spring. I will share in apost a little later about how we do Spring.

I have been searching for a lamp that would fit with the seaside theme and have had no luck so........I pulled out an old lamp and gave it a seaside makeover.

The side table was too dark
A coat of fresh chalk paint to match the lamp was just what it needed

A WHIMSICAL SEASIDE COTTAGE LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER

Welcome to Sweet Tea N' Salty air.....Last summer I turned the living room into a lake side cottage...this year we are seaside. Really we are we live about 10 minutes from Marco Island, one of the finest vacation islands with the classiest of beaches filled with multi million dollar condos. The other side of me is the Florida Everglades where the wild animals roam such as Alligators, pythons and you name it. We have a few bears that wonder in our yard every now and again though along with snakes, coyote's, panthers. We are waterside but it is the Canal that leads out to the gulf of Mexico...and that has Gators and manatees. Come take a look.......

The crate above was free ,  fresh corn is packed in them , once the market empties them they are free for the taking . So I thought a fish crate would be in order. After staining it I wrote a little something on it and filled it with a fish net.

I found this wonderful painting at the Dells Thrift Warehouse It is so typical of the eve…

COME JOIN ME FOR A LITTLE EASTER

Hi friends! Well Easter is just a couple days away, a fun holiday of coloring eggs, a visit from the bunny himself , egg hunts and a delicious Easter dinner . It's all about Easter traditions. Today I am sharing a little Easter here at Sweet Tea N' Salty Air.

Hey so what ever happened to Easter bonnets? I can remember dressing in a pretty dress with a matching bonnet going to Easter Sunday mass, the best memories ever.
